Responsibilities :

  • Learn how the products are quoted, assembled, customized and delivered to customs across North America and internationally too.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about the products, services, customized solutions and order fulfillment.
  • Actively engage with new and repeat customers by providing technical after-sales support.
  • Work in partnership with the product and technical teams to ensure customer feedback and insights are fed back into existing product improvements and new product development.
  • Collaborate with our marketing functions to help create impactful, customer-centric promotional and informational on-line and digital content.
  • Learn product pricing, commissions and discounts structure for end customers, reps and re-sellers.
  • Develop a sound knowledge of industry, customer pain points, the competitive environment, and trends in instrumentation and process control.
  • Document your activities and collect contact information into a digital platform.

Qualifications :

  • Customer experience focused mindset.
  • Interest in growing personally and professionally into customer engagement.
  • Solid commitment to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively with other team members.
  • College or University degree in a technical discipline is an asset however candidates with relevant career-acquired experience are welcome.
  • Mathematically intuitive thinker is preferred and possessing or willing to learn basic instrumentation / technical / engineering principles.
  • Some knowledge of fundamental business principles e.g. understanding of revenue, profit margin and sales results reporting is preferred.
  • Working experience in technical sales and / or sales management is helpful, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication.
  • Effective goal setting, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver.
