C&A Group is actively recruiting Pipefitters / Plumbers of all skill levels to join our rapidly expanding and dynamic team of Mechanical professionals in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

Wage : Base Journeyperson Rate - Up to $42.00 / hr

- Has the ability to read and interpret mechanical, structural, and architectural drawings Blueprints?

Plumber / Pipe Fitter Journeypersons and Helpers are required to perform some or all the following duties :
- Functional knowledge of operations including but not limited to process piping systems, steam, water, air, gas, sanitary and hydraulics.
- Knowledge of Safety & Quality Codes relevant to pipe fabrication (B31.3, CSA Natural Gas and Propane Installations B149-15, 2020 Alberta Plumbing Code).
- Reading, understanding, and following project drawings, shop drawings and verbal directions.
- Installing the following items in a timely manner, pipe, supports and equipment according to the drawings.
- Visualize and review drawings, 3D Models and other project data for material take-offs and pipe runs.
- Ordering the correct materials and ensuring used for the correct application.
- Plan, execute, and supervise projects in a professional manner.
- Reading and understanding project schedules, milestone dates and requirements.
- Lead production and installation teams throughout project execution.
- Coordinate production and installation with clients and sub-trades.
- Coordinate subcontractor requirements and dates with the Project Manager.
- Training apprentices how to perform their tasks to a high quality of standard, in a safe and professional manner.
- Execute pressure tests to the test procedures specified for each piping system.
- Installing fixtures and equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Trouble shooting problems that occur and provide a solution or contacting the appropriate parties to resolve the problems.
