Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Lead to drive the development of our Next.js-based web applications . This role is both technical and strategic , requiring hands-on development while leading a team of front-end engineers . You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance UIs , maintaining design consistency , and ensuring seamless user experiences across all our products.

As a key technical leader, you will collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to define best practices, optimize front-end performance, and shape the future of our fintech applications.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development

  • Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance front-end applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript .
  • Optimize rendering performance, API integrations, and UI responsiveness .
  • Define and enforce best practices for front-end development, including coding standards and design patterns.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers , and establish scalable development workflows.

Collaboration & UI / UX Implementation

  • Work closely with UI / UX designers to translate wireframes into interactive, user-friendly applications.
  • Ensure front-end consistency by maintaining a scalable component system (e.g., Storybook, ShadCN, Tailwind CSS ).
  • Collaborate with back-end teams to optimize API consumption and data handling.
  • Advocate for accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.

    • Performance & Scalability

  • Continuously improve application load times, rendering performance, and SEO .
  • Implement progressive enhancement strategies for smooth user experiences on all devices.
  • Optimize front-end assets for faster page loads and efficient resource management .

    • Process & Team Growth

  • Drive front-end architecture decisions , ensuring scalability and maintainability.
  • Establish CI / CD pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployments .
  • Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends .
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of front-end engineers.

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with expertise in React and TypeScript .
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and component-based UI development .
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Zustand, Redux, Recoil ).
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, lazy loading, and SSR / ISR strategies .
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets .
  • Solid understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress ).
  • Experience with build tools and CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Vercel, GitHub Actions ).
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in front-end development.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or high-traffic web applications .
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma for collaboration with UI / UX designers.
  • Experience in progressive web apps (PWA) and mobile-first development .
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG) .
  • Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities .
