We are currently seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Finance and working within the Finance team in Guelph, Ontario, this role will be responsible for the management and direction of the day-to-day functions of the accounting department.

What you will do :

  • Lead the Accounts Payable function
  • Coordinate all month-end and year-end activities
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and transaction records
  • Identify and implement system and procedural efficiencies
  • Ensure trial balance accounts are accurate and reconciled
  • General accounting and AP tasks as required to meet deadlines
  • Team leadership and coaching

What you need to succeed :

  • CPA designation
  • 5 years' experience in Senior accounting roles with leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing, coaching and developing teams
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office and accounting Software
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Communication in French is an asset but not required.
