Responsibilities :

  • Project Accounting & Coordination : Track project extras, job costing, and ensure billing accuracy. Manage progress billing and change orders.
  • Bookkeeping : Handle payables and receivables, payroll, EI reports, and reconciliation. Perform AR management and journal entries.
  • Office Management : Oversee office upkeep, file management, data management (including email lists), and mail distribution.
  • Software Proficiency : Utilize QuickBooks for financial tasks and maintain effective file loading and distribution.
  • Communication & Coordination : Collaborate with team members and manage relationships with external parties. Provide administrative support to the accounting team.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in office administration with a strong background in project accounting specific to the construction industry.
  • Skills : Proficiency in QuickBooks, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage time effectively.
  • Soft Skills : Dedicated, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to learn from mistakes. Demonstrated flexibility with a strong sense of time management.
  • Able to work independently and in a team
