We are looking for a RPA Application Production Support to work with one of our clients, an international bank based in Montreal.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role involves ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of IT production systems. The Analyst will manage incidents, requests, changes, and problems while addressing technical issues promptly. The position requires a focus on improving application health through automation, monitoring, and proactive analysis. The Analyst will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshoot functional and technical issues, and collaborate with other teams for escalation or resolution.

The role also includes weekend and off-hours coverage when necessary and demands flexibility to adapt to a dynamic production environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Technical Expertise :

  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in technical support roles, with proficiency in incident and problem management.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Advanced skills in Unix / Linux environments, including shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., Blue Prism), ETL platforms (e.g., Ab Initio), and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Dynatrace and scheduling solutions such as Control Center.
  • Understanding of global infrastructure, including networking and firewalls.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities :

  • Strong aptitude for analyzing incidents, dependencies, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions for recurring issues.
  • Additional Skills :

  • General IT and banking industry knowledge.
  • Proficiency in managing user queries, incident tracking, and resolution reporting.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
  • PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in financial services or similar industries.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale, data-intensive environments and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of noSQL databases and modern DevOps practices.

  • Candidates must be located or willing to relocate in Montreal
  • Hybrid position with 3 days on-site per week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (French is a plus).
