Reporting to the General Manager, the Senior Process & Production Engineer will be responsible for improving and optimizing the production process and making sure we deliver a quality product to our customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze KPI’s and performance data of the production
- Develop methods and plans to improve manufacturing and maintenance operations
- Implement and drive continuous improvement activities
- Implement quality control procedures and methods of waste reduction
- Maximize manpower utilization and processes
- Oversee all production, shipping, inventory, and maintenance issues
- Identify training needs and conduct or authorize training
- Meet daily with the IT team to improve process automation
- In conjunction with Health & Safety Advisor, Initiate H&S meetings, practices, plans (modified work), etc.
- Schedule, delegate, and ensure plant and equipment maintenance. Follow up on maintenance logs
- Plan, organize and direct manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assets
- Revise and submit management and performance related to the areas of responsibilities
- Oversee pre-production process and scrap and remnants reduction
- Ensure that machines, trucks, trailers, forklifts, plant, yard, and office are in good condition and that all hauling equipment is roadworthy
- Process and order materials.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a process / production engineer role
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to establish strong and trusting relationships with employees
- good organizational and multitasking skills
- knowledge of the concepts and tools of continuous improvement.
