Sheet Metal
Offloading and loading sheet metal pieces into the production linePrepare skids, including offloading and loadingForklift operationRead and understand sheet metal layout drawingsElectrical
Basic mechanical troubleshooting and general machine maintenanceSkills / Physical Requirements
Production or general labor experience (an asset)Previous experience with automated sheet metal equipmentPrevious experience with CNC operation or a punch machineBasic computer literacyAble to lift and carry up to 50 poundsStanding for long periods of time in a busy production environmentShift
This position is for an evening / night shift from 4 : 00 pm to 02 : 30 am, Monday to Thursday, and a shorter shift schedule for Friday. An initial training period will include day shifts for a few weeks, transitioning to afternoon shifts, which will begin around 12 : 00 pm. It will be approximately 3 months before the full evening / night shift is expected to be scheduled.Typical schedule is up to 44 hours / week, including occasional Saturday shifts.
