The Role
Joining the Paladin Technology team means an opportunity to learn and grow on the job. Job shadowing Senior Technicians’ daily activities and hands‑on training will be provided for this role. We are looking for dedicated talent who are “willing to get their hands dirty” and are committed to learning industry best practices from on‑site mentors. The Technology Trainee will demonstrate the ability to think outside of the box and exhibit strong professionalism, communication, and collaboration. Coordination and communication with the Senior Technicians are critical to the success of this position. This position may require weekend / night shifts and occasional out-of‑town travel. As a Technology Trainee, you will gain first‑hand experience working in a variety of areas such as Datacom, Audio‑Visual, and Security Systems.
General Accountabilities
- Pulling trade‑specific cabling as directed by Site Leads
- Installation of different cable support structures
- Basic installation of associated field devices to Paladin standards
- Staging materials to improve efficiency
- Clean up at the end of the day, making sure all cables are neatly coiled throughout the job site, tools clean and put away
- Keeping the job site clean
- Assist on some of our larger installations
- Travel to client sites on a required basis
- Other duties as required
Required Qualifications
Must be bondable and able to pass a background check.Preferred Qualifications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be requiredPay Range : $20.50 ph - $23.58 ph (DOE)
