Legal Assistant (Paralegal) -Remote, Canadian law Firm

Full-time legal assistant position. M-F job (40 hrs.) for Vancouver, CANADA based law firm.

• Must be able to work in the PST time zone [UTC-8 hrs].
• Professional-level English skills (verbal & written) are a must.
• Law degree or paralegal training is required to be considered for this position.
• You must live in Egypt to be considered for this position,
• Our law firm is growing, and we need a new legal assistant to help our team of lawyers.
• The legal assistant's tasks include supporting a group of lawyers in :
• Document preparation and filings
• Sending critical documents to client
• Organizing files and material
• Various admin tasks
• Thorough training is provided but :
• Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency is needed
• A fast internet connection is also needed
• Preferred candidates will have :
• At least 3 yrs legal or paralegal experience with an international law firm (USA or Canadian law firm is preferred)
• Professional level conversational and written ENGLISH skills (if you have taken an English skills test, please attach your certificate)
• Professional level conversational and written ARABIC skills (written and spoken)
• You must have the ability to :
• Keep yourself and files organized
• Read and research regulations, including government website
• Work under pressure
• Meet strict deadlines
• Solve problems and know when to ask for help
• Pay strict attention to details
• Work in a team and accept feedback
• Manage your time
