Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM
Competitive Pay: $20.00/hour

You’ll play an important role in creating clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments for our clients, customers, students, staff, and communities.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining assigned areas to high standards of cleanliness and safety. Depending on the location, your work may include offices, classrooms, common spaces, washrooms, hallways, and other facility areas.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, common areas, washrooms, hallways, and other assigned spaces.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and vacuum floors and surfaces.
- Clean walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, vents, and other high-touch areas.
- Empty waste and recycling containers and replenish supplies.
- Safely use cleaning products, chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with manufacturer and Sodexo standards.
- Operate equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other specialized cleaning equipment as required.
- Move furniture and assist with room, table, and chair set-up.
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor.
- Perform routine equipment care and minor maintenance where required.
- Follow all established health, safety, and infection prevention procedures applicable to the site.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and hazard assessments.
- Report accidents, injuries, hazards, or safety concerns promptly.
- Complete required classroom and virtual training.
- Support other environmental services and facility needs as assigned.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience is an asset.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check, including a Vulnerable Sector check.
- Must be able to perform physical duties including standing, bending, reaching, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and repetitive arm and hand movements.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.
