Job Description
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly serviceHealth & Safety conscious, actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment including inspection of all areas of the property for safety issues and taking immediate corrective actionService and repair duties of guestrooms, public areas, and heart of houseMinor equipment repairs, HVAC servicing and filter changes
Caulking washrooms, bathrooms and repair and replacement of bathroom fixtures, and minor plumbingDaily swimming pool test and chemical balancing when assignedInspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipmentAssist guests regarding hotel equipment e.g. TV's as neededActive participation in our environmental program and sustainable operationsDaily system checks when assignedOther duties as assignedQualifications
Previous maintenance experience in areas such as painting, plumbing, tiling and carpentry, across a large commercial building or similar is preferredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliable, able to work safely with minimum supervision and be able to prioritize tasksExcellent guest service skills with an eye for detail and mechanical aptitude neededTeam oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of the English language requiredClass 4 ticket an assetMust be available to work the overnight shift (11 : 00pm - 7 : 30am, approximately)Additional Information
