General Labourer

Adecco is currently hiring a Night Shift General Labourer for a hands-on opportunity with a growing manufacturing and production team in Saint John, NB.

This role is ideal for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy physical work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in getting the job done. As part of a small night shift team, you will play an important role in supporting production operations and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.

• Pay Rate: $17.93/hour

• Location: Saint John, NB

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Material Handling & Production Support

• Move, lift, and stack pails and materials throughout the production facility.

• Load, unload, and organize products in designated areas.

• Assist with packaging, staging, and general production activities.

• Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently at all times.

Warehouse & Operational Support

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow production schedules and work instructions.

• Support team members in meeting daily operational targets.

• Assist with additional labour tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in general labour, manufacturing, warehouse, production, or material handling is an asset.

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to safety and productivity.

• Positive attitude and willingness to support a small team environment.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening and Criminal Background check

• CSA-approved steel-toe work boots are mandatory.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
