We are currently seeking a Temporary HR generalist to support the Human Resources team within a logistics and transportation organization during a leave. This role does have the opportunity for a permanent placement given the performance and fit are met.
The role is on-site in Edmonton, supporting a workforce of approximately 300 employees with a broader company footprint of 3,000+ employees. The environment is young and dynamic, and all HR processes are managed through Workday. The broader HR team is supported remotely, including partners based in Halifax.
Advantages
-Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 which converts to $40-45/hour
-Vacation pay: 4% added to each pay
-40 hours per week

Responsibilities
-Lead HR Employee relations initiatives, including investigations, documentations and follow ups
-Coaching and supporting of managers across multiple sites
-Helping with internal mobility (transfers, promotions, department changes)
-Execute HR transactions and employee data management in Workday
-Build, document, and manage HR cases in collaboration with the HR team
-Assist HR Generalists with various administrative and operational tasks
-Act as the primary on-site HR presence, ensuring consistent and professional support to employees
Qualifications
-5+ years of HR Generalist/HR Advisor/HRBP experience
-Knowledge of Workday (Asset)
-Proven ability with investigation and employer relations
-Autonomous, well-organized, and proactive
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
