As a Senior Manager, you'll play a key part in driving growth for our clients, our team, our firm, and your own professional development. You'll develop solutions with clients and co-workers through collaborative debate and discussion, and work across a variety of engagements with tight deadlines, always with an emphasis on the client experience, team growth, and shared success.
What you'll do
Technical Expertise & Quality Assurance
- Peer review corporate year-end files, working with our Client Concierge
- Complete detailed reviews of corporate year-end files, following our consistent process
- Lead compilation and review engagements
- Deliver on the deadlines we promise to clients
- Mentor others to improve quality and efficiency
Communication & Client Relationships
- Respond to client requests, questions, and suggestions in a timely manner
- Adapt your approach to each client's needs and preferences
- Foster a positive relationship between clients and their team
- Build long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients
Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and coach our Client Managers and team members to grow their technical abilities
- Engage in team training and invest in others' professional development
- Lead by example and jump in where needed
- Keep growing your own knowledge to better serve clients and guide the team
- Be an engaged part of a positive culture
Business Growth
- Listen for pain points in current client relationships and provide solutions
- Identify further opportunities with existing clients
- Ask for and follow up on referrals from current clients
- Develop new business by reaching out to prospects
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Valid CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial management
- Proficiency with computerized accounting systems; experience with Karbon and TaxCycle preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks

Working Conditions
