Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Planner Scheduler - Project Controls on behalf of our client in Calgary, AB. As a Planner Scheduler - Project Controls, you will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules to support the safe, predictable, and efficient delivery of large-scale capital projects.
You will work closely with engineering, construction, supply chain, finance, and project leadership teams to ensure project schedules are aligned with business objectives and execution strategies.
Payrate: $80- $95/hour
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for major capital projects.
Build and manage WBS structures, work packages, resources, and project calendars.
Coordinate scheduling activities with engineering, construction, and project teams.
Analyze critical path schedules, project risks, change impacts, and forecasted completion dates.
Monitor project progress, contractor performance, and schedule compliance.
Lead schedule reviews, progress meetings, and performance reporting activities.
Perform schedule variance analysis and provide recommendations to support project decisions.
Support schedule risk assessments, forecasting, quantity tracking, and month-end reporting.
Collaborate with project controls, engineering, construction, supply chain, finance, and contractor teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, bid reviews, and project controls best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 10 years of project controls, planning, and scheduling experience within oil & gas, mining, industrial construction, or major capital projects.
Strong experience with project scheduling, contractor performance management, field progress tracking, and change management.
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
Experience with schedule forecasting, risk analysis, and project performance reporting.
Working knowledge of SAP, EcoSys, or similar project controls systems is an asset.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree, diploma, trade certification, or equivalent industry experience.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
