Ocean Capital has an opportunity for a Wellbeing Program Lead. Reporting to the Wellbeing Advisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our employee wellbeing program, Thrive. This role combines health care, adult education, interpersonal skills, creativity, and administration to support a healthy workplace culture. The ideal candidate is an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with an interest in teaching, marketing, and administration.
Supporting the planning and delivery of wellbeing programming, such as vaccination clinics, health assessment programs, ergonomic education and other initiatives that support employee wellbeing.
Maintain organized, detailed records and provide administrative support for wellbeing initiatives.
Assist with the distribution and facilitation of wellbeing education and promotion to various worksites.
Champion the Wellbeing program including the Employee Family Assistance Program.
Travel to various locations as needed, with frequency varying based on business demands.
Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in good standing with provincial association.
Certification or strong interest in mental health, chronic disease prevention (heart disease, diabetes, , personal fitness training/instruction, and office ergonomics would be an asset.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including giving presentations and creating written communications.
Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in maintaining files and records.
Proficiency in graphic design and creating visual communications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Clipchamp, and Forms.
Friendly, approachable, and social personality.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Comfortable working in corporate, plant, and field environments.
Demonstrates a passion for and knowledge of healthy lifestyle practices.
Understand and appreciate the need for confidentiality.
