Adecco is currently hiring an SAP Support Technician for a 12-month contract opportunity supporting SAGD operations in Alberta.
As an SAP Maintenance Support Technician, you will provide end-user support for maintenance work management processes, optimize SAP workflows, deliver user training, develop reporting solutions, and support operational performance across multiple sites.
Location: Foster Creek, AB | Camp and flights provided from Calgary and Edmonton
Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off | 12 hours a day
Job type: 12 months contract | Full-time
Responsibilities:
Provide end-user support for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and maintenance work management processes.
Troubleshoot SAP issues and support continuous improvement of workflows, data quality, and system efficiency.
Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
Manage SAP reporting requests, maintenance metrics, and performance data.
Support Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and data analysis initiatives.
Deliver SAP training, coaching, and user support while ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.
Assist with CMMS, reporting, and technology enhancements across multiple operating sites.
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, planning, and reliability teams to support business goals and operational performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in a technical discipline preferred.
Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification is considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within the energy, oil & gas, industrial, or heavy industry sectors.
Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and maintenance work management processes.
Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, and maintenance performance metrics.
Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and work order management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data queries.
Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple teams.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
