Produce Clerk (part-time), Swan River - Swan Valley Co-op

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Produce Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Be a public relations representative for the Co-op in the communities we serve.
• Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
• Cut, prepare and package fruits and vegetables into various sized trays.
• Maintain sections of merchandise as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is always followed, and that close-dated product is reported to the Produce Manager.
• Follow established procedures for trimming and preparation, washing, culling, and pricing.
• Assist the Produce Manager with ordering duties and inventory control.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including maintenance of all equipment and display cases.
