Job Description

About Snipp

Snipp Interactive is a global provider of promotions and loyalty technology, helping brands turn transactions into relationships. Our platform supports receipt-based promotions, consumer rebates, and enterprise loyalty solutions - trusted by leading CPG, retail, and B2B companies worldwide.

The Opportunity

Snipp is looking for a hands-on Senior Customer Experience Designer who combines strategic UX thinking with strong visual design skills to translate complex program requirements into intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences. Snipp is a global loyalty, promotions, and rewards technology company supporting leading CPG, retail, and B2B brands across loyalty, receipt-based rebates, promotions, sweepstakes, and related customer engagement programs. You'll take meaningful ownership of client program design while helping expand Snipp's growing creative-services capability, working closely with the VP of Customer Experience and cross-functional teams across Product, Development, Sales, Account Management, and Delivery.

You'll translate program requirements and brand direction into intuitive consumer journeys, distinctive campaign creative, and production-ready experiences. You'll independently develop design solutions, make sound day-to-day creative decisions, present the thinking behind your work, and lead the design direction and execution for assigned programs while partnering with the VP on overarching creative strategy and key client direction. AI-enabled workflows are an important part of how Snipp concepts, prototypes, and delivers creative work. You'll use AI tools alongside professional design judgment to improve and accelerate output, while also collaborating with Product and Development on reusable UX patterns, templates, and workflows that can scale beyond individual campaigns.

What you'll do:

  • Own the UX and design execution for assigned loyalty, rebate, promotion, and sweepstakes programs, including registration, receipt upload, earning, redemption, and communications. Balance client goals, usability, platform capabilities, and program rules.
  • Design polished, brand-led responsive sites, landing pages, microsites, and supporting communications, and extend creative direction across email, social, and promotional assets as needed.
  • Present and explain experience and creative decisions to clients, gather and resolve feedback, and lead working discussions for assigned work while partnering with the VP of Customer Experience on overarching strategy and key accounts.
  • Use AI tools, including Claude Design where appropriate, as part of concepting, prototyping, and production while applying critical design judgment to every output.
  • Use emerging tools to analyze requirements, draft supporting materials, document decisions, and improve repeatable creative and production tasks.
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Delivery, Product, and Development to identify build constraints, flag risks and trade-offs early, and shape compelling, achievable customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with Product on reusable UX patterns, templates, and design-system improvements, and help document and refine how client experiences move from scope through approval and production.
  • Maintain accessibility, responsiveness, brand consistency, and alignment with program rules; contribute thoughtful critique and work constructively across distributed teams.

Requirements

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX, digital, product, or visual design, or equivalent demonstrated capability. Portfolio strength, design judgment, and ownership matter more than a specific number of years.
  • Senior-level design judgment with a strong eye for typography, composition, hierarchy, interaction, and detail, and the ability to critically evaluate and refine work to a polished standard without constant art direction.
  • A portfolio link or relevant design samples demonstrating strong visual execution, brand-led digital experiences, UX thinking across journeys and responsive layouts, and at least one substantial project or work-stream carried from concept through execution.
  • Experience taking meaningful design work from brief through execution, managing competing priorities, and proactively moving work forward while maintaining quality.
  • Solid UX fundamentals, including user journeys, interaction design, responsive and mobile-first experiences, and an understanding of how visual decisions support usability.
  • Strong command of professional design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including the ability to create, refine, and prepare polished digital creative and interactive prototypes.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in creative or production work, with the ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated output. Claude experience is welcome but not required.
  • Confidence presenting and explaining design work, receiving feedback constructively, and collaborating across disciplines. Experience with senior enterprise stakeholders is a plus.
  • A hands-on individual-contributor mindset, with the resourcefulness to move between experience design, campaign creative, prototyping, and adjacent production needs and the judgment to know when to decide, seek input, or flag risk.
  • Experience in loyalty, promotions, rebates, sweepstakes, incentive marketing, agency or client services, CPG or retail, SaaS platforms, design systems, configurable templates, or WCAG accessibility standards is a plus.

Location:

  • Ideally in Vacouver, BC. The company is distributed nationally and internationally, so the majority of communication occurs electronically.
  • Core hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm PT, with occasional early or late calls to overlap with the Europe and India teams.

Compensation:

  • The typical hiring range for this role is C$110,000–C$135,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to our compensation philosophy, internal equity, and comes with a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. Base pay will be determined based on role-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
