Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead Consultant to lead finance transformation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within an SAP S/4HANA RISE environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, strong consulting capabilities, and excellent executive-level stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead post-upgrade optimization initiatives across SAP S/4HANA Finance
- Provide expertise across FI, CO, Project Systems, Treasury, Cash Management, and OpenText VIM
- Develop and execute multi-year SAP Finance roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and AI-driven finance innovation
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Project Controls leadership
- Facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions
- Present transformation recommendations and business cases to senior executives
- Design and implement automated financial controls and audit-compliant processes
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Establish best practices for documentation, testing, governance, and change management
- Lead onshore, offshore, and outsourced delivery teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience
- Strong experience with SAP FI/CO and finance transformation initiatives
- Expertise in General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders
- Experience with Project Systems, Cash Management, and Treasury Management
- Experience supporting or optimizing upgraded SAP S/4HANA environments
- Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent executive communication and presentation capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
- CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent accounting designation
- Experience with SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud
- Knowledge of RPA tools for finance automation
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE environments
