Job description :
The clinical Application Specialist provides training and in-servicing in the proper use of medical devices and interventional procedures.
Customers are cardiac interventional specialized doctors, nurses and other medical personnel in catheter labs for the Quebec and Atlantic regions.
The clinical Application Specialist operates computer simulation equipment and performs a demonstration on the use of various vessel model units during trade shows or regional clinical meetings and conventions.
The Clinical Application Specialist works with the Sales and Marketing teams and with external customers to resolve clinical and technical problems.
Skills and qualifications :
- Electrophysiology or radiology technical background with accredited licensing entity
- Minimum of 3-5 years of scrubbing experience within the Cath Lab is mandatory
- Field clinical support experience with the medical industry is a strong asset
- Strong technical and clinical knowledge in endovascular and / or cardiovascular
- Solid interpersonal skills, able to handle customer inquiries
- Very good organization skills, multi tasking
- Flexible on travelling up to 40% overnight stays
