FT Server - Chateau Nova Kingsway

Do you enjoy creating a welcoming experience for guests and working as part of a busy Food & Beverage team?

Chateau Nova Kingsway is looking for a friendly, dependable and experienced Full-Time Server to join our team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys providing great service, works well in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable assisting with bartending duties when required.

This position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive food and beverage service
• Take orders accurately and ensure food and beverages are served efficiently
• Answer guest questions and provide information about menu items, beverages and hotel services
• Check in with guests throughout their experience and respond promptly to requests or concerns
• Process guest payments accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures
• Maintain clean, organized and guest-ready service areas
• Work closely with the kitchen and other Food & Beverage team members to provide smooth, consistent service
• Assist with bartending duties as required, including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Help with bar setup, stocking and maintaining a clean and organized bar area
• Follow responsible liquor service requirements and all applicable hotel procedures
• Assist fellow team members when needed to keep service running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant or food and beverage serving experience
• Previous bartending experience is required
• Valid ProServe certification is required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional and positive approach
• Dependable and able to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is a setting, which has the following conditions: low noise environment; high traffic area for internally and external guests, exposure to office equipment such as photocopier, fax and telephone, potential exposure to theft and/or belligerent guests.
