Greenhouse Support Associate

Adecco is currently hiring Greenhouse Support Associates for multiple temporary opportunities in Saskatoon, SK. This role is ideal for candidates interested in agriculture, greenhouse operations, horticulture, plant care, crop production, and general labour.

Whether you have previous greenhouse or farming experience or are looking to gain hands-on experience in the agriculture industry, training will be provided to successful candidates.

• Pay Rate: $17/hour

• Location: Saskatoon, SK | Site located 10 km outside of Saskatoon and not accessible via public transportation

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Job type: Temporary 2 months | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Greenhouse Operations & Plant Care

• Assist with daily greenhouse operations and plant maintenance.

• Support planting, watering, pruning, and crop care activities.

• Monitor plant health and report concerns to supervisors.

• Follow greenhouse procedures and quality standards.

Material Handling & Harvesting

• Move and organize plant trays, pots, and greenhouse supplies.

• Assist with harvesting, packaging, and preparing products for shipment.

• Support general agricultural and greenhouse labour activities.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

• Assist with additional greenhouse tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous greenhouse, farming, agriculture, horticulture, or plant-handling experience is an asset.

• High school diploma

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.

• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and humid greenhouse conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Have your own reliable transportation, as the worksite is not transit accessible

• Able to successfully pass a criminal background screening

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
