Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) and Inventory Management (IM) Business Analyst to join their project in November 2026, and will run for 6 to 12 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have broad expertise in configuring and supporting the SAP MM module, preferably in the Utility Industry, with proven experience in Inventory Management and Procurement. They should understand Advanced Shipping Notifications, Goods Receiving, Issuing, Transferring, Picking, and cycle count, and have experience integrating barcode reader applications with SAP, such as RFgen. Along with interpreting business requirements, building solutions in ECC, testing, training, and implementation. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the future state of the enhancement, including project prioritization, Develop business case for implementation, Facilitate training to end users, Configuration and testing, Documentation.
- Implement Critical Material Tracking solution by utilizing SAP and RFgen functionalities.
- Perform fit gap analysis and define business needs for IS solution;
- Knowledge of utilities business, including Electric & Gas Transmission and Distribution, Major Construction, and IT Projects, is an added bonus.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Utilities experience, IS-U Device Management, and SAP PM knowledge are desirable.
- Knowledge about utilities business will be an added bonus: Electric & Gas Transmission and Distribution Projects, Electric & Gas Major Construction Projects, IT Projects.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
