Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Accounting Analyst for an opportunity within the oil and gas industry in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in production accounting, Energy Components (EC), data entry, ticket validation, fluid haul reporting, regulatory compliance, and oilfield operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, reconciling, and entering fluid movement and disposal data while supporting production accounting, environmental reporting, and regulatory compliance activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Process and enter 60-100 truck and pipeline tickets daily into Energy Components (EC).
Verify ticket accuracy, completeness, and supporting documentation.
Research and resolve missing or incorrect information.
Investigate ticket discrepancies and reporting issues.
Work with Production Accountants to correct and validate data.
Support production and disposal reporting activities.
Reconcile disposal reports, rig reports, and operational data.
Ensure accurate month-end reporting and record retention.
Collaborate with Operations, Fluid Haul, Measurement, Environmental, and Accounting teams.
Coordinate documentation and assist with special projects.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
Support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience working with Energy Components (EC) is required.
Working knowledge of WellView and production accounting processes.
Understanding of fluid haul operations, disposal reporting, and oilfield documentation.
Working knowledge of SAGD operations and related facilities.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Directive 7: Volumetric and Infrastructure Requirements
Knowledge of Directive 17: Measurement Requirements for Oil and Gas Operations
Knowledge of Directive 42: Measurement, Accounting and Reporting Plans
Knowledge of Disposal Waste Manifest processes
Knowledge of SAGD operations, wells, pads, tanks, sumps, berms, pits, and battery systems
Knowledge of Production accounting and environmental reporting requirements
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
