Process Control:

Student, OT Integrity Engineer

What you’ll do

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned to but they may include:

Mechanical:

• Manage Risk Assessment process, including scribing and authenticating processes
• Complete P&ID reviews, MOC Management and other daily technical support.
• Learn and apply basic codes and standards in mechanical/material engineering and develop associated documents and procedures
• Complete Engineering Investigations

Chemical/ Process:

• Applying engineering theory and problem-solving skills to resolve safety/environmental/integrity concerns, optimize performance, and scope/identify opportunities to reduce cost and add business value.

Process Control:

• Support safe, reliable, and efficient operations by assisting with process control and safety system initiatives, and the optimization of control strategies and control system performance.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
• Available to begin work in January 2027
• Results oriented with strong ownership
• Critical thinking and data literacy
• Collaboration and clear communication
• Integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word)
• Skills with Enersight, QPortfolio, Accupamp, and/or Spotfire would be an asset

Education

• Must be enrolled in a Mechanical / Chemical Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
• Background in Business / Economics would be an asset
