Order Picker with Walkie

Job Title: Order Picker with Forklift (walkie) ticketLocation: Dartmouth Burnside, NSWork Type: Temp to PermSalary: $19.50/hrSchedule: Sunday 3pm-midnight & Monday-Thursday 4pm-12:30am (OT as required)

• Special Note: The buses do not run at the nighttime hour here, you will need your own car or uber in order to commute

What you'll do

• Core Order Picking & FulfillmentOrder picking — Accurately pick pharmaceutical, medical, and pet‑care products according to pick lists or RF scanner instructions.Inventory handling — Verify product codes, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy and compliance.Packing & staging — Prepare picked orders for shipping, including packing, labeling, and staging pallets or totes.Machine Operation - Operate walkie lifts with precision.
• Material HandlingWalkie operation — Use a walkie/rider pallet jack to move products throughout the warehouse (training provided if no experience).Manual handling — Lift, move, and organize boxes or totes up to required weight limits.
• Technology & SystemsRF scanner use — Operate handheld scanners to track inventory, confirm picks, and update order status.Warehouse systems — Work within CDMV’s Warehouse Management System to ensure real‑time accuracy.
• Quality & ComplianceAccuracy checks — Perform double‑checks on product codes, expiry dates, and quantities.Pharmaceutical compliance — Follow strict handling procedures for medical and veterinary products.

What You’ll Bring

• Walkie experience and ticket is required.
• Order Picker experienceexperience using RF scanners and WMS
