In this role you will work collaboratively with regional representation and partners to understand broker needs, bring forward the voice of the broker, and ensure broker education programs, materials, and learning initiatives reflect broker operational realities, business priorities, and change impacts. You will manage broker education planning, coordination, and continuous improvement activities to support broker readiness, understanding, confidence, and experience across the broker distribution network.

  • Ensures broker education materials and messaging are clear, current, consistent, and aligned with business intent, SGI requirements, and broker needs.

  • Monitors broker education content for duplication, gaps, outdated information, and inconsistencies that may create confusion or rework.

  • Guides content and delivery improvements to support broker understanding, readiness, confidence, and effective adoption of change.

  • Supports the planning, vetting, and coordination of broker learning opportunities with industry associations and key business partners, including convention speakers, education sessions, and broker-hosted training initiatives, ensuring content is relevant, practical, aligned, and supportive of the broker experience.

Broker Education Evaluation, Prioritization & Insight

  • Maintains and monitors broker education materials, tools, inventories, resources, and SGI CANADA/external offerings to ensure they remain current, accessible, accurate, and aligned with SGI CANADA products, systems, processes, and requirements.

  • Leads a consistent approach to broker education feedback, evaluation, and effectiveness tracking, including surveys, broker input, partner feedback, reporting, and other data sources.

  • Acts as the broker education subject matter expert by qualifying and quantifying internal requests, issues, and improvement opportunities; challenging assumptions where appropriate; and providing evidence-based guidance on whether action, deferral, redirection, monitoring, or no action is warranted.

  • Assesses priorities based on broker impact, business need, operational risk, timing, available resources, and alignment to SGI CANADA priorities.

  • Supports the implementation and ongoing refinement of the broker education governance model, including intake, prioritization, ownership, review cycles, standards, reporting, escalation, and alignment with the Corporate Technical Training (CTT) model.

  • Applies established governance processes to manage broker education requests, priorities, deliverables, timelines, risks, dependencies, and team capacity.

  • Maintains portfolio visibility by tracking broker education work, status, risks, dependencies, resource impacts, and priority changes.

  • Translates broker education priorities into actionable plans and directs the team’s work to support broker readiness, understanding, adoption, confidence, and experience.

  • Represents broker education and the voice of the broker in management-level planning and governance discussions, identifying impacts to broker workflows, handoffs, authority levels, timing, and day-to-day business operations, and escalating matters requiring Director-level decision or alignment.

  • Identifies concerns, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early in planning, procurement, and delivery cycles, and escalates issues that may affect broker understanding, adoption, or experience.
