We are proud of our work and commitment to create one of the leading workforce, products, and services in the Aviation industry.Reporting StructureThe position reports directly to the Director of Quality.Core CompetenciesAttention to detail and sound regulatory judgment.Strong organization, prioritization, and document-control skills.Professional written and verbal communication.Integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.Ability to identify incomplete, inconsistent, or unsupported maintenance records.Key Performance Indicators / Duties & ResponsibilitiesComplete the final QC documentation review of Avionics component and manufacturing work orders and of aircraft work packages and job cards completed by both the Avionics and MRO divisions after the applicable ACA, SCA, MCA, or other authorized person has completed the required inspection or certification.Confirm the correct customer, aircraft or aeronautical product, registration where applicable, manufacturer, model, part number, serial number, work-order or work-package number, and authorized work scope are identified.Verify that all applicable job cards, task cards, inspection sheets, work instructions, non-routine cards, continuation sheets, engineering instructions, test records, drawings, and supporting documents are present, legible, correctly indexed, attached, and attributable to the work performed.Confirm required tasks, steps, inspection points, measurements, tests, corrective actions, and certification blocks are complete and include the applicable technical reference, date, signature, initials, stamp, employee identifier, and calibrated-tool information.For aircraft job cards, verify the corrective action answers the requested work or discrepancy and that applicable company procedures have been followed.Confirm persons signing maintenance releases, ACA/SCA certifications, MCA conformity certifications, independent or duplicate inspections, required inspection items, or other controlled sign-offs held the applicable authorization within scope on the date of certification.Confirm required inspections, operational checks, leak checks, ground tests, maintenance-flight requirements, and other completion requirements are properly recorded or formally transferred in accordance with approved procedures.Verify applicable Quantum controls are complete, including the Inspection Required and Sign Off Required selections and the information required for the final work statement or aircraft-release entry.Verify installed and removed parts, materials, consumables, and externally processed items are supported by the required certification and traceability records, including part number, serial number, and life status where applicable.Confirm repairs, modifications, engineering orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, STCs, and other technical instructions have the required approved or acceptable data references, approvals, and accomplishment records attached or recorded.Review aircraft and component maintenance-release documents and manufacturing statements of conformity for correct product identity, work description, references, required wording, AMO or approved-organization identity, date, and authorized signatory.For manufacturing work orders, review all task cards, additional work sheets, test reports, drawings, and other supporting documents for completeness and confirm the required MCA inspection and certification records are present.Visually confirm that a completed component or manufactured product has the required identification labels, stickers, or markings and that the part number and serial number agree with the work order, release document, and supporting records; report any mismatch for correction.Verify outstanding or partially completed work, defects, additional work, and non-routine tasks are properly cross-referenced, dispositioned, closed, or formally transferred to the applicable outstanding-work record.Withhold final QC closure and document and route QC kickbacks to the responsible Project Manager, Shop Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or department when records are incomplete, illegible, inconsistent, unsupported, or outside the applicable scope; verify the correction before acceptance.Do not alter, complete, initial, sign, backdate, or reinterpret another person's maintenance or manufacturing entry; ensure corrections are completed by the appropriate authorized person in accordance with approved procedures.Protect completed records against loss, damage, or unauthorized alteration; route accepted records for retention or customer delivery; maintain communication with the Director of Quality; monitor documentation trends; and support corrective and preventive action, training, and process improvement.Other duties as assigned.Must obtain and maintain the QC Inspection Authority and any additional administrative authorization required for the assigned final-review and closure functions.May withhold final QC closure, request objective evidence or correction, and apply the authorized QC stamp, initials, or electronic approval within the scope of the authority issued.QC closure and the limited visual product-identity check confirm completion of the assigned final review only. They do not authorize an aircraft buy-back inspection, a maintenance release, component certification, a manufacturing conformity inspection, or a statement of conformity unless the applicable ACA, SCA, MCA, or other authority has been separately issued. Accountability remains with the person who performed, inspected, or certified the work.QualificationsCanadian AME licence considered an asset.Previous Quality Control, Technical Records, aircraft-planning, component-shop, manufacturing-documentation, ACA, SCA, or maintenance-release experience considered a strong asset.Experience with transport-category aircraft and aeronautical component or manufacturing records considered an asset.Working knowledge of aircraft, component, and manufacturing documentation; technical-data references; parts traceability; maintenance releases; statements of conformity; and certification-authority requirements.Strong computer, Quantum, records-management, and written English skills.ExperienceMinimum five years of aviation maintenance, component-shop, manufacturing, aircraft-records, planning, or technical-quality experience involving maintenance documentation and certification processes.Our recruitment commitments:We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.Depending on qualifications, selected candidates may be offered a role at a more appropriate level.Avmax Group offers a competitive compensation package including an optimal benefits plan and pension plan.Avmax Group Inc. is dedicated to, and prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer.
