About the Position
The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for kitchen Steward Supervisor to join our Stewarding team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining clean, safe, and organized kitchen and back-of-house areas while supporting the successful execution of the diverse events hosted at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.
Note: This is a temporary position from October to December 23, 2026.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the Kitchen Stewards in cleaning and sanitizing all flatware, glassware, and silverware, maintaining cleaning tools and supplies, and storing them in designated areas.
- Ensure the upkeep and preservation of the warewashing rooms, chinaware storage room, cleaning and non-cleaning storage rooms, and food preparation rooms.
- Set up and maintain all service stations, clearing stations, and food plating areas to ensure they are ready for their intended purpose.
- Ensure all requisitions from Banquets, Culinary, and other departments are completed and positioned accordingly.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a hotel or convention setting.
- A post-secondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related program is considered an asset.
- Excellent leadership, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and SDS (Safety Data Sheets).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
