JOB SUMMARY
: An itinerant position supporting students with Blind or Visual Impairment within Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. Under the supervision of the teacher on assignment (who supports students with visual impairments), duties will include: instruction of Braille Literacy to students with a visual impairment, onsite preparation of materials in braille (transcribing), service to students with visual impairments who access curriculum through use of assistive technology, supporting the implementation of the specific skills included in the Expanded Core Curriculum including Orientation and Mobility, and internal PD and training with assistive technology as needed.
