About the role
We are looking for an all-star Financial & Operational Analyst to join our finance team and help drive the profitable growth of our omnichannel business — retail stores, e-commerce, and wholesale.
This is a high-impact individual-contributor role for a financial modelling expert who partners directly with decision-makers across the company. You’ll turn numbers into narrative — translating unit economics and operating drivers into clear, compelling stories that shape strategy and drive action. As a public company, we’ll also count on you to take the pen on our MD&A and investor presentations.
At the core of our business: always having sufficient, just-in-time inventory to sell. Inventory turnover and merchandise planning are mission-critical here, so this role blends the best of financial planning, merchandise planning, and retail economics.

Responsibilities
- Build, own, and continuously improve sophisticated financial and operating models that support forecasting, planning, scenario analysis, and capital-allocation decisions.
- Partner with decision-makers across finance, operations, and the executive team to pressure-test strategy and quantify the financial impact of business choices.
- Take the pen on our Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and other public filings, and craft investor presentations that tell a coherent, data-driven story to the market.
- Analyze performance against plan, identify the drivers behind variances, and recommend actions to improve profitability and growth.
- Lead pricing and margin analysis across our retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels.
- Own SKU-level forecasting and merchandise planning, and optimize inventory turnover and sell-through — balancing product availability against margin and cash efficiency.
- Build balanced scorecards and act as a business coach to the leadership group, connecting financial outcomes back to the strategy and execution that produced them.
So are YOU our next Financial & Operational Analyst?
Requirements
- Expert-level financial modelling skills, with a track record of building models that decision-makers actually use.
- Strong business acumen: you quickly grasp how a business makes money and where the levers are.
- Deep fluency in unit economics and retail economics — pricing, margin analysis, SKU-level forecasting, inventory turnover, and merchandise planning.
- Experience in an omnichannel retail environment spanning stores, e-commerce, and wholesale.
- Experience with public-company reporting (MD&A, earnings materials, investor presentations), or the demonstrated ability to step into it.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you’re a storyteller who makes complex numbers clear and persuasive.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent is an asset.
- Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite, Oracle Hyperion, Shopify Plus, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
Sound good? Then join us in our mission of making the world smile — one cup at a time.
