Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Knowledge of dental software Cleardent, along with experience in orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient comfort and clinical excellence are prioritized. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology as needed Manage patient records using Cleardent. Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when necessary Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures and address any concerns or questions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment in compliance with health regulations Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, especially with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Cleardent is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health Experience supporting dental procedures involving CAD technology is a plus Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is required or highly recommended Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential Pay: From $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 - 40.0 per week Benefits: On-site parking Licence/Certification: Certified Dental Assistant (required) Work Location: In person
