The Assistant Controller is a hands-on financial leader responsible for maintaining strong fiscal controls and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across the organization. This role supports the overall financial strategy and operational success of the group of companies.

What You'll Do :
Drive detailed variance analysis, margin analysis, and scenario modeling to support proactive financial planning.Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costing, product costing, overhead allocation, inventory valuation, and gross margin reporting. Provide insights into cost drivers, profitability by product / category, and operational efficiencies.Deliver timely, accurate reporting that enables leadership to evaluate performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make sound, data-driven decisions.Manage all core accounting functions — accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, inventory, and month-end close — ensuring cost and inventory data flows accurately into financial models.Act as a key contributor to the leadership team by offering strategic financial insights, supporting pricing decisions, evaluating capital investments, and contributing to organizational planning.Provide mentorship and guidance to the finance team, strengthening capabilities in cost accounting, analysis, and reporting.Support ERP implementation and enhancement efforts, ensuring accurate capture of cost data, improved reporting capabilities, and streamlined financial processes.What We're Looking For :
CPA would be a nice asset to haveBrings a minimum of five years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in inventory costing and analysis.Experienced in using ERP systems such as SAP, with the adaptability to quickly master new financial technologies.Cost Accounting experienceDemonstrates advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial and operational data clearly.Proactive in applying technology and automation to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline accounting processes.If this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to apply today!
