You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Indigenous Relations team's capacity by streamlining funding agreements, managing contracts and resource allocation, ensuring efficient processes and reducing risk to the organization. As a key link between relationship-building and technical execution, you will support Practice Advisors in all regions across British Columbia and work closely with regional operations to ensure efficient and consistent oversight of agreements, ultimately improving CLBC's ability to develop, sustain, and expand Indigenous partnerships. You will work closely with regional leaders and other key interest holders to oversee and recommend enhancements to processes related to funding, contract modifications, and eligibility considerations, including adult guardianship. This position strengthens CLBC's ability to meet the rising demands of Indigenous partnerships through consistent oversight of contract management, coordination of service agreements, and alignment with Indigenous Relations priorities.Key responsibilities:Collaborate with regional teams to support individuals and their contracts with an Indigenous relations lensCollect, review and analyze operational, practice, and service delivery data to determine trends, gaps, and make recommendations to management with a lens on service equity and culturally appropriate processes and practicesProvides technical mentorship and subject matter expertise to Practice Advisors, Indigenous Relations regarding Indigenous funding agreements, contract administration, reporting requirements, and related operational processesServe as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive matters, offering expert advice, facilitating resolution, and ensuring alignment with organizational values and Indigenous cultural frameworksParticipate in Indigenous partner-specific committees, ensuring ongoing communication and alignment with agreementsAct as the Indigenous relations expert in resource allocation meetings, ensuring appropriate funding decisions are madeSupport Facilitators and Analysts in building relationships with families, individuals and service providers, and coach to enhance individual capability and depth of practiceAdvise and support front-line staff and managers on complex contractual items, including the procurement cycle, direct awards, competitive processes, individual/family choice and evaluation of pre-qualified listsWhat you will bring:A diploma or bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Social Work or a business-related degree with human services orientation, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years' direct experience in a social service delivery role, preferably in community livingTo reduce barriers to the application process, we welcome a combination of transferable skills, knowledge, lived experience, and comparable qualifications for considerationDirect experience working with resource allocation, service delivery and resource development is an assetDemonstrated Procurement experienceDirect experience engaging and supporting the development of relationships with Indigenous community partners and individualsExperience working with Indigenous communities, organizations, or individuals is an asset.
