Job description
Our client is looking for a Temporary Payroll Administrator to support their team ASAP due to a recent resignation. This role will start as a 3-4 month contract, but could turn into a permanent position for the right person.

If you have experience using Dayforce for full-cycle payroll and are available to start work immediately for a short-term contract, please apply today!

Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote in Kitchener, ON
Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour


Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing biweekly payroll for employees in ON and AB
  • Supporting the finance team with payroll entries and deductions
  • Reporting tasks including: calculating payroll deductions, reconciliation of payroll, WSIB remittances, creating payroll entries, and various reporting tasks such as month and year end reporting and activities, T4s, and ROEs.


Qualifications:
  • Dayforce experience is REQUIRED
  • PCP Designation an asset
  • 2-5 years of previous payroll work experience required, knowledge of interprovincial and unionized payroll is an asset.
  • Sound interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team setting
