About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled professionals. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing excellent quality patient care and leadership to members of the health care team within the nursing units of the Health Centre. The hours of work will be all shifts, including weekends, and being on-call as required. This job posting is for a current vacancy. About The Benefits

To qualify for the role, you will must have a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will also need to have Successful completion of a post-graduate perioperative nursing course and/or equivalent experience; Certification with the Canadian Nurses Association in perioperative Nursing or prepared to complete; Recent and relevant Operating Room and Post Anesthetic Care experience with demonstrated competency in all advanced nursing practices relevant to Operating Room nursing; Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs; Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references; Bachelor of Science in Nursing would be an asset; A.C.L.S. Certification would be an asset; Experience in all areas of surgical services and ability to practice in all areas of surgical services would be an asset.
