Position: Pastry Cook (Full-Time) What You’ll Do: As a Pastry Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and Head Chef to prepare exceptional pastries and desserts that align with our culinary standards. You'll also play a hands-on role in supporting kitchen prep, training junior team members, and ensuring service runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Support the Pastry Chef in daily pastry production and service prep. Maintain mise-en-place and ensure pastry items are ready and consistent for each service. Assist with the planning and creation of prep lists, and help lead AM prep when needed. Ensure proper storage, rotation, and inventory of pastry ingredients. Communicate prep needs and menu updates clearly to both BOH and FOH teams. Support junior prep cooks and help maintain a positive and efficient work environment. What You Bring: Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience (pastry experience preferred); high-volume restaurant experience is a plus. Solid understanding of kitchen techniques, food safety, and handling protocols. Calm and focused under pressure with strong time management and multitasking skills. A love for Italian cuisine and a desire to grow within a dynamic, team-oriented kitchen.
