Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician - Commercial ServiceSign on Bonus $5,000Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour, we pay based on experience. Our team-focused culture encourages professional growth, collaboration, and long-term career development - we believe our employees are our greatest asset and invest in their success.Position Overview:Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment: rooftop units, make-up air units, chillers, boilers, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, etc.Diagnose equipment issues, replace faulty components, and complete repairs efficiently.Install new systems and carry out retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.Perform preventative maintenance under year-round service contracts with established commercial accounts.Deliver professional, high-quality customer service and complete accurate service documentation.Keep current with advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technologies and best practices.What We Provide:Take-home work truck + gas cardCompany phoneCompany uniform + cleaning serviceTool, boot and uniform accountLocally owned and operatedStability and growth with year-round workOvertime is available but not requiredMultiple professional career path optionsCompany paid education & industry trainingTeam eventsPositive culture motivated by continuous improvementHigh standard of professionalism in "who we are and what we do"Signing bonus contingent on experience and technical ability *Company Benefits:Medical and Dental insurance; 100% paid premiums by employerLife insuranceCritical illness insurance3 weeks paid vacation time / 120 hours11 paid holidaysBanked time programRRSP with company match programJob Qualifications:Journeyperson Refrigeration & Air Conditioning certificate preferred (Red Seal welcome) - registered apprentices are encouraged to apply.Refrigerant handling (ODP) certification.Hands-on experience servicing commercial and industrial HVAC or refrigeration systems.Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standardsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and single-line diagrams.Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.Excellent interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers.Looking to Relocate?
