Total Compensation Range: Competitive;
$60,000 – $75,000 CAD based on experience

Position Summary

WELL Health Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Payroll Coordinator to support payroll operations for Quebec (QC). This role is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while ensuring compliance with Canadian payroll legislation and company policies.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and French, has strong communication and organizational skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to delivering excellent employee support.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Process end-to-end payroll for QC employees accurately and on timeManage onboarding activities for new hires, including payroll setup, employee documentation, and system entriesMaintain payroll records, employee data, and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentialityEnsure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation, including statutory deductions, remittances and reporting requirements.Prepare payroll journal entries and support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and payroll-related journal entriesRespond to payroll related inquiries from employees and leaders in both English and French in a professional and timely manner with exceptional customer services Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and issue resolutionSupport HRIS implementation activities for QC based companies including system transitions to ADP. Support French-language communications with Quebec members. Assist with payroll audits and support internal and external compliance requirementsSupport year-end activities including T4 and RL-1 preparationIdentify payroll discrepancies and resolve issues with strong attention to detailSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes efficiency, and employee experienceAssist with additional payroll-related duties and special projects as assigned


What You Bring to the Team:

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is preferred5+ years of payroll and HR experience, preferably in a multi-provincial environmentFluency in both English and French is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindsetStrong knowledge of Quebec payroll legislation and payroll and HR best practices mandatoryExperience with ADP or similar payroll systems is considered an assetStrong Excel and data management skills High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to workBilingual proficiency in French and English, with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

Résumé du poste

WELL Health Technologies est à la recherche d’un(e) coordonnateur(trice) de la paie rigoureux(se) et axé(e) sur le service afin de soutenir les opérations de paie pour le Québec (QC). Cette personne sera responsable du traitement précis et ponctuel de la paie, tout en assurant la conformité avec la législation canadienne en matière de paie ainsi qu’avec les politiques de l’entreprise.

Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) est bilingue en français et en anglais, possède de solides compétences en communication et en organisation, et évolue bien dans un environnement collaboratif et dynamique. Ce poste exige un haut niveau de professionnalisme, de confidentialité et un engagement envers un excellent soutien aux employés.

Comment vous contribuerez:

• Traiter la paie de bout en bout pour les employés du Québec de façon précise et dans les délais requis
• Gérer les activités d’intégration des nouveaux employés, y compris la configuration de la paie, la documentation des employés et les entrées dans les systèmes
• Maintenir les dossiers de paie, les données des employés et la documentation de soutien avec un haut niveau de précision et de confidentialité
• Assurer la conformité avec la législation fédérale et provinciale en matière de paie, y compris les retenues statutaires, les remises et les exigences de déclaration
• Préparer les écritures comptables liées à la paie et soutenir les rapprochements, rapports et analyses liés à la paie
• Répondre aux demandes liées à la paie provenant des employés et des gestionnaires, en français et en anglais, de manière professionnelle et rapide, tout en offrant un service à la clientèle exceptionnel
• Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes RH et Finance afin d’assurer des opérations de paie harmonieuses et la résolution efficace des problèmes
• Soutenir les activités d’implantation du SIRH pour les entreprises basées au Québec, y compris les transitions de systèmes vers ADP
• Soutenir les communications en français avec les membres du Québec
• Aider lors des audits de paie et soutenir les exigences de conformité internes et externes
• Soutenir les activités de fin d’année, y compris la préparation des feuillets T4 et RL-1
• Identifier les écarts de paie et résoudre les problèmes avec un grand souci du détail
• Participer aux initiatives d’amélioration continue afin d’optimiser l’efficacité des processus de paie et l’expérience employé
• Effectuer toute autre tâche liée à la paie et participer à des projets spéciaux au besoin

Ce que vous apportez à l’équipe:

• Le titre de Professionnel(le) en conformité de la paie (PCP) est considéré comme un atout
• Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en paie, idéalement dans un environnement multi-provincial
• Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais requise
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite, combinées à une forte orientation vers le service à la clientèle.

• Solide connaissance de la législation Québécoise en matière de paie et des meilleures pratiques du domaine
• Une expérience avec ADP ou un système de paie similaire constitue un atout
• Excellentes compétences avec Excel et en gestion de données
• Grand souci de l’exactitude, de la confidentialité et du détail
• Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en gestion du temps, avec la capacité de gérer efficacement plusieurs priorités simultanément.
• Approche collaborative, proactive et axée sur la recherche de solutions.
