Accounts Payable Specialist

who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys bringing accuracy, organization, and efficiency to every transaction.If you're someone who loves balancing priorities, solving problems, and ensuring every detail is accounted for, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities

Process PO and non-PO invoices, payment requests, and bank transactions.

Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and documentation.

Execute EFT, ACH, wire, cheque, and international payments.

Support domestic and international banking activities.

Prepare month-end accruals and assist with financial close.

Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and AP balances.

Investigate payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries.

Prepare AP aging reports and monitor outstanding items.

Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements.

Collaborate with operations, vendors, banks, and finance teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.

Multi-entity and multi-currency experience.

International banking experience is an asset.

Experience with Sage X3, Concur, or similar ERP/AP systems.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Knowledge of GL coding, PO/non-PO processing, accruals, and reconciliations.
