Job description
Who we are We’re not your typical non-profit. We bring swagger to everything we do. That means we move with purpose in every step, driven by our commitment to putting our community at the centre of our work. Every day, we ask ourselves to see possibilities where others see limits. Because people with Parkinson’s and care partners deserve better. Better care, more inclusive research and access to treatment and support that make living well possible.

Our mission is to empower and inspire people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners to live fully and courageously. Through community support, advocacy, and research, we encourage others to see a diagnosis not as a dimming of light, but a spark for a new beginning.

Move forward. Together. On Mission.

Who we need The Manager, Enterprise Technology & Service Delivery is a hands-on role responsible for the reliable, secure, and effective operation of the organization’s enterprise applications, Microsoft technology environment, end-user services, network services, and third-party cloud platforms. The Manager provides operational oversight of managed service partners and technology vendors while directly administering and supporting enterprise applications, including system configuration, user and access administration, security role design and maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing application support.

The Manager serves as the primary operational point of coordination for technology incidents, service requests, changes, escalations, and recurring operational activities. The role also supports cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT governance priorities by implementing security controls, coordinating remediation activities, maintaining documentation and procedures, supporting risk and access reviews, and participating in continuity and recovery planning and testing.

Working within a Microsoft-based environment with a portfolio of third-party cloud applications, the Manager collaborates with business system owners, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure technology services are secure, well documented, governed, resilient, and continuously improved.

This is a hybrid role, with a combination of remote work and in-person work at Parkinson Canada's office (4211 Yonge Street, Suite 316, Toronto, M2P 2A9).

Key Responsibilities Service Delivery

Provide hands-on administration, configuration, support, and maintenance for designated enterprise applications and third-party cloud platforms.

Develop and maintain application security roles, access profiles, permissions, and user access controls in accordance with least-privilege and segregation-of-duties principles.

Manage the day-to-day relationship with the managed service partner, including service performance, priorities, incidents, escalations, changes, and recurring operational activities.

Oversee the reliable and secure operation of the organization’s Microsoft environment, network services, endpoints, cloud services, and related infrastructure.

Coordinate application upgrades, system changes, vendor support, testing, documentation, integrations, and technology improvement initiatives.

Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning, documentation, testing, and remediation activities.

Work closely with business system owners and internal stakeholders to understand technology needs, recommend practical solutions, and ensure services are secure, reliable, well supported, aligned with organizational priorities, and managed in accordance with established application standards and organizational practices.

Oversee the technology enablement framework, including training standards, quick-reference resources, tool refresher programs, and a network of super users or peer champions to support adoption and consistent system use.

Support the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence and automation by identifying opportunities, evaluating potential solutions, coordinating implementation activities, and helping ensure appropriate security, privacy, governance, and operational controls are applied.

Security

Monitor technology service performance, recurring issues, risks, and service trends, and recommend practical improvements.

Support the execution of cybersecurity priorities, including security controls, access reviews, vulnerability remediation, incident response, and risk tracking.

Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls and operational practices, including access reviews, vulnerability remediation, incident response procedures, and cybersecurity risk tracking.

Asset Management

Maintain accurate and current records of corporate technology assets in the asset management system, including asset assignment, location, status, lifecycle, warranty, and disposal information.

Governance

Support IT governance by maintaining service standards, performance measures, operational documentation, system and access records, change controls, risk and remediation tracking, and continual improvement practices across internal technology services, the managed service partner, and third-party vendors

Help implement and maintain IT governance practices, policies, standards, inventories, procedures, controls, and operational documentation.

Contributes to departmental and organizational excellence

Monitor and support departmental performance against established SOPs, SLAs, and service metrics, including response and resolution times, customer satisfaction, service quality, and continuous improvement objectives.

Participate in Parkinson Canada's EOS operating framework, including regular meeting rhythms, quarterly priorities (Rocks), and defined role accountabilities.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Three or more years of progressive experience in enterprise technology operations, application administration, infrastructure support, service delivery, or a related area.

Experience working in a Microsoft-based environment and supporting a portfolio of third-party cloud applications.

Experience coordinating or managing services delivered by a managed service provider or other external technology vendors.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with enterprise application configuration, user access administration, security roles, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.

Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Demonstrated positive approach to daily problem-solving.

ITIL and COBIT certifications would be an asset.

Compensation At Parkinson Canada, we believe that compensation should be fair and supportive of your experience and growth. For this role, the salary is between $85,000–$95,000 per annum. Our salary ranges reflect progression from learning in the role to excelling, with each offer based on skills, experience, and role complexity. We strive for equitable, consistent pay, though rates may vary within the same role based on performance, specialized knowledge, and impact.
