Job description
Join Amrize as a WCAN Leasing & Equipment Maintenance Lead and help construct what's next. If you're ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter — and build a career with a company that’s building North America — we want to hear from you!

About The Role The WCAN Leasing & Equipment Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing Western Canada's equipment leasing portfolio on behalf of the Director of Capital Delivery & Asset Movement while supporting the WCAN Capex Manager. This role owns and optimizes all leasing activities across WCAN, leads the development and continuous improvement of equipment maintenance processes across all locations and product lines, and oversees the approximately $75 million annual equipment lease portfolio. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize spending, and increase the speed and efficiency of lease execution. This role also provides leadership to the Equipment Maintenance (EM) Coordinator group across Western Canada, driving process alignment, maintenance system implementation, asset structure, and related initiatives. By providing direction, support, and coaching, the incumbent will strengthen maintenance reporting and analytics capabilities while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Treasury, banks and leasing companies, Finance, General Managers, Plant Managers, Operations Managers, Fleet Managers, and Equipment Maintenance Coordinators, the successful candidate will build strong relationships, coordinate regional initiatives, and promote a culture of ownership across the business. They will also share their technical expertise through site visits and formal training sessions to enhance operational knowledge among front-line employees and supervisors.

Lead, develop, and support Equipment Maintenance super-user groups across WCAN, driving process standardization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Monitor lease execution timelines, identify bottlenecks, and provide reporting to improve efficiency and accountability.

Partner with leasing vendors to ensure accounts are accurate, reconciled, and effectively managed.

Influence stakeholders, establish priorities, communicate timelines, and drive successful execution of regional initiatives.
