We are looking for a motivated Manager to lead our Migrant Workers Program! This position will be based at one of our Vancouver locations. Not sure if you're 100% qualified? The Manager, Migrant Workers Program manages their respective program; supervises staff; works collaboratively with MOSAIC Settlement, Language, Employment, Specialized Child and Family Programs’ staff, co‑location agencies, community organizations and stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate service delivery to migrant workers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be familiar with funder contract agreements and funding expectations, cross regional services, co‑location programs and operations. Ensure program/service related policies, procedures, and service standards are appropriate and meet CARF standards Supervise and support the work of settlement workers, program assistants, and volunteers Facilitate curriculum and resource development for staff Ensure delivery of the Program is consistent and professional

Provide direct settlement information and support to newcomer clients as needed Respond to enquiries and provide presentations to target communities and/or stakeholders Supervise the promotion and marketing of related activities Work closely with the managers of other Settlement programs Participate/lead/facilitate team, partnership, departmental, Settlement cluster, all staff, and relevant community meetings, in‑service training, and other training asassigned Maintain working knowledge of emergent issues in situations involving settlement ofnewcomers and community capacity building Coordinate the development of innovative services and resource materials that supportsettlement and capacity building for newcomers Assist senior manager in identifying emerging newcomer needs Assist the senior manager in identifying funding sources Participate in ensuring development and submission of proposals and budgets for newand existing programs in a timely fashion

Assist the senior manager and Finance Department to prepare contract budgets Monitor contract budgets, cash flows, variances, financial statements, reports, andexpense records

Hire/retain, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff; ensure completion of properdocumentation Develop and support staff to reach their potential

Direct program assistant to ensure volunteers receive orientation, properplacement, and adhere to MOSAIC Volunteer Resources policies and procedures Ensure implementation of MOSAIC’s policies and procedures Engage in public relations work with community partners Act as a resource for community organizations, stakeholders, and partners tocollaborate with MOSAIC to build capacity for immigrant and refugee communities Work in partnership with community organizations and stakeholders to organize andcoordinate public education/information/resource events Attend consultations, meetings, and conferences on issues relating to settlement,newcomer labour market integration, community development and connections, andpolicy dialogue Promote MOSAIC as a cross‑region stakeholder and service provider for immigrants andrefugees through participation in community committees, task forces, andgovernmental and inter‑agency networks Ensure timely, accurate completion of narrative and data reports Regularly inform the senior manager on the progress of contractual outputs and outcomes Compile reports and service statistics for the senior manager on emerging issues and community trends, developments settlement services, and funder‑related feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:

Undergraduate degree in a related discipline (refugee and/or forced migration studies, intercultural studies, social studies, social work, business administration, area studies) or a combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered At least 2 years of experience at Migrant workers space and settlement services Supervisory and leadership skills Financial management Excellent knowledge of settlement procedure and organization in BC Able to work independently and lead a team Cultural Awareness Ability to communicate in English; a second language will be considered an asset Interpersonal skills Community Development skills Ability to take initiative Clear understanding of confidentiality and privacy of client information Ability to set clear yet friendly professional boundaries Empathetic, respectful and discrete; remains tactful and patient during stressful situations Highly organized and strong attention to detail Strong time-management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills. Work independently with limited direct supervision. Keen understanding of diversity issues, experience working in multicultural settings Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check required COMPENSATION:

$69,360 - $78,605 annual salary HOURS:

35 hours per week. This position is fixed term until March 31, 2027. This position may be permitted to work a hybrid schedule. For in-office days, the successful candidate must be able to commute to our office 201-2730 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5N 5P4. BENEFITS:
