We're a small team, and we're growing — which means this is a chance to join at a moment that matters, take on real ownership, and grow as the company does. We need an Event Manager who can own events end-to-end — planning, logistics, budgets, vendors, run-of-show, client management — and grow into a Producer as we take on more. You'll work alongside our Director, our production specialist and our founder, and you'll be trusted with real events fast (think galas and conferences, not fetching coffee). What you'll do

Lead planning and logistics on a portfolio of events, from kickoff to load-out Own client management — the relationship, the updates, the trust — for your events Build and manage budgets, timelines and run-of-shows that actually matter Build and nurture real relationships with our vendors Partner with the team on production, digital assets, decks and onsite execution Use AI every day to work faster and smarter (a lot more on this below) Who you are

You've already run events

in a lead role

— you can jump in with very little hand-holding Experience with

fundraising events

(galas, walks, runs) is a big asset You build

run-of-shows that matter

— the backbone of a smooth event, not just a document You build

genuine relationships with vendors

and know how to get the best from them Wildly organized, unflappable under pressure, obsessed with the details A strong communicator clients instantly trust, comfortable owning a budget

and

a timeline Genuinely excited by nonprofit missions and the people they serve The non-negotiable: you work WITH AI

This matters to me more than anything else on this list, so I'm putting it front and centre. I use AI every single day to do more, faster — and I need someone who does the same (or is hungry to). This isn't 'have you heard of ChatGPT.' I mean you actually

build

with AI: drafts, decks, timelines, budgets, research, whole systems. If AI isn't already part of how you work, this probably isn't the role for you — and that's completely okay.
