Expected Salary: $67,021 – $87,965 To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Description In this role, you will:

Manage activities relating to the – Quality Assurance Program.

Monitor Babcock minimum standards for conformance.

Report findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program to the QA Manager and keep a record of those findings and any corrective actions taken as a result of those findings.

Distribute, through the QA Manager, findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program to the appropriate manager for corrective action.

Monitor the corrective action plans and follow-up actions for findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and are effective.

Monitor all technical and regulatory data, including company procedures, processes, forms, and the MPM, ensuring they remain current and effective.

Ensure maintenance records, service difficulty reports and internal audit reports are completed and processed in accordance with the MPM.

Monitor the company training program ensuring all aspects remain current and effective.

Monitor personnel training records, ensuring they remain current.

Monitor Certificating Authority and the records of those authorizations in accordance with the MPM.

Monitor, for compliance with the MPM and regulatory requirements, all activities carried out by the company.

Work in Co-operation with operational and maintenance managers to monitor and assess concerns raised under the Quality Assurance program regarding their effect on the company.

Travel throughout Canada as required to ensure the Quality Program is maintained.

Provide training as required.

Undertake other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate brings:

4-6 years of previous auditor experience in an Approved Maintenance Organization or equivalent.

Superior verbal and written communication skills, including writing formal reports, and making presentations.

Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) or meets eligibility to attain.

Prior training or certification as an auditor.

Demonstrated experience working on CAMP, Winair or other similar maintenance programs.

Good organizational skills.

Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

The physical ability to sit or crouch for extended periods.

The physical ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods.

The ability and willingness to undertake shift work.

Ability to work in Canada and/or have or can obtain a Canadian passport.

A valid driver’s license.

Requirements of CAR 573.03(1)(c) and CAR 573.03(6) would be an asset.

A valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license would be an asset.

Eligible for ITAR and Controlled goods clearance.
