OTI Lumionics is developing advanced materials—by design—using quantum simulations, machine learning and real-world testing in pilot production. We are currently focused on key enabling materials for OLED displays that will be used in next-generation consumer electronics and automotive. Our advanced electrode materials, and associated manufacturing technology, are being used to build transparent displays and lighting. We work closely with our partners and customers to design new materials that are mass-production ready. Using our computational Materials Discovery Platform, we are able to rapidly iterate new materials, allowing fast turn around time to meet our customers’ needs. Workplace type

Hybrid primary responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with existing and prospective customers in the China flat panel display industry. Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the China market to support revenue growth and market expansion. Develop and execute account strategies aligned with customer objectives and company business goals. Forecast customer demand, material requirements, and sales revenue to support business planning and supply chain activities. Lead and coordinate joint development and qualification projects with Chinese customers. Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal functions, including R&D, operations, and supply chain teams. Support OLED material qualification and commercialization activities with customers in China. Monitor market trends, competitive activities, technology developments, and customer requirements within the China display industry. Build and maintain long term customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide timely reporting on customer activities, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities in the China market. Monitor accounts receivable and support collection activities as required. Travel regularly within China to support customer engagements, project reviews, and business development initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and actively participate in the identification and reduction of environmental impacts related to the role. Adhere to health and safety protocols, report hazards, and contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Product Management, Strategic Account Management, Sales, or a related customer facing role. required skills

Demonstrated experience working with customers in the flat panel display industry. Strong knowledge of OLED materials, device structures, and panel technologies. Understanding of OLED material and panel qualification processes at panel makers. Working knowledge of OLED material manufacturing processes. Understanding of OLED market dynamics and business strategy development. Knowledge of customer material registration procedures and compliance requirements. Experience managing customer demand forecasts and supporting supply chain planning activities. Proven ability to develop sales presentations, pricing proposals, and support contract discussions. Strong capability in gathering and analyzing customer and market trends. Experience coordinating cross functional projects involving customer and internal development teams. Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels. Established network within the flat panel display industry is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop, strengthen, and maintain long term customer relationships. Experience managing accounts receivable and participating in payment collection activities. Results oriented and customer focused mindset. Self motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. $75,000 - $110,000 a year
