Utilize manual, electric, and hydraulic tools, alongside welders and cutting torches, to perform and verify maintenance tasks and repairs

Investigate and diagnose equipment issues, taking swift corrective action to minimize downtime and production disruptions

Plan, organize, and coordinate work within a collaborative team setting

Follow all safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working in potentially hazardous environments

Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work performed, including schedules and parts used.

Ensure all tools are maintained in optimal working condition and operate various types of heavy and specialized machinery as required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or general equivalency

Minimum of 3 years' experience repairing heavy-duty equipment or as a maintenance technician

Completion of formal training in heavy equipment or commercial transport is required; possessing a heavy-duty equipment mechanic license is considered an asset

Valid driver's license

Well-versed in reading schematics and skilled in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Proficient in computer use, including maintaining data for repair work orders and working with various software applications

Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and welding principles is required, with opportunities for specialized expertise based on industry needs
