Your Mission Sledgehammer Games is looking for a Dialogue Designer to help create a fresh new AAA aural experience for our next project. Candidates should be versed in dialog editing and processing techniquesand have a general knowledge of dialog pipelines. You will report to our Dialogue Director and help ensure delivery of the highest quality dialog with the use of internally developed proprietary tools.

Edit, design and process dialogue assets for all aspects of our game.

Collaborate with the Dialogue and Narrative Teams, ensuring excellent inter-departmental communication and alignment of goals.

Interactive and linear dialogue design.

Dialogue asset implementation using proprietary tools.

Apply studio and departmental standard methodologies of dialogue workflows and systems.

Inspire teamwork and collaboration inside and outside the Audio Dept.

Player Profile

Demonstrated knowledge of various aspects of game dialogue.

Some knowledge of both linear and interactive dialogue systems.

Minimum three years of experience in game audio development.

Shipped one major title.

Understanding of PS5, XBOXSeries X, and PC audio functionality, capabilities, and limitations.

Experience with at least one major digital audioworkstations.

Experience with middleware programs such asWwiseandFmod.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Exceptional organizationskills.

College degree preferred.

Individual contributor with at least5+years experienceorcombination withCollege degree.

Bonus XP

FPS/Multi-playerexperiencea plus.

Audio scripting experience.

Continuing Education Certificate, Professional or advanced degree in programming, audio engineering, or similar preferred.

The standard base pay range for this role is $103,720.00 - $137,080.00 CAD. These values reflect the expected annualized base pay range of new hires in Ontario, Canada. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
